Armour Beauty Lip Gloss
Armour Beauty Lip Gloss
The first time I set eyes on Theo Kogan, the owner and creator of Armour Beauty, I was 20 years old and she was commanding the stage with her band as I stared at her colorful, artfully inked arms, and her flawlessly applied makeup. She was a true rock n’ roll goddess (google her). Years down the road, as our worlds got smaller, we became friends and when she started Armour Beauty she sent me some of her glosses. They’ve been in my kit since day one. This lady knows makeup! I’ve picked 12 of my all time favorite colors for Reed Clarke and there’s something for everyone, from the perfect nude to the boldest red that you can see from across the room (just ask Karen O., a fan of the line). This gloss lasts, so I know when I use it on the red carpet I don’t have to worry about the color disappearing before my client gets in front of the cameras. A must for makeup artists, actresses, rock goddesses and us mere mortals alike.

Sheer peachy pink with gold shimmer. This is a universally flattering color. The warm gold shimmer is super pretty on all skin tones, making your lips look ultra glossy and sexy. Use it alone or over a lipstick.
Beige nude. This is a great true nude. Like the perfect pair of nude heels, it complements everything else you're wearing. A strong, sexy eye is this lip's best friend.
Sheer light pink with cool pink shimmer. A soft, pretty gloss that is ultra alluring and super easy to wear.
Coral with pink undertones. I love a coral year round, but it looks especially great in the spring and summer months. When the weather gets warm I like it with a swipe of mascara (and a healthy coat of sunblock).
Bright coral. I just adore a coral lip, it's so fresh and pretty. Coral is a constant go-to color when I get my clients ready for the red carpet, and it always feels incredibly modern. Not as brazen as a red or as much of a statement as a bright orange, it's totally wearable for any skin tone and any personality.
Rosy nude. This is such a pretty color, it gives you that ultra chic nude look without washing you out. Gorgeous paired with a bronzy eye and mascara, or healthy bronzed skin and a bit of a cat eye.
Dusty rose pink with warm holographic shimmer. A super flattering color, not too pink, not too mauve, it's like your lip color with a little extra oomph and sparkle.
Electric pink with blue/violet shimmer cast. Not for the faint of heart, this is a color to get you noticed. You can sheer it down by patting it on, giving you a pretty pink pout, or you can go for it and paint it on for a full-blown Studio 54 look.
Warm tomato red. I think that an orange based red is the most modern color for a red lip, and this color is completely perfect in every way. If you don't want to commit to a fully painted lip, you can pat it on for a stain, but I also love this color when it's put on straight from the tube. Super gorgeous, very cool.
Classic blue red. This is a great red, and it is really versatile since it can be used as a stain or as a lipstick. I love the range of coverage you can get with it. Pat it on and then blot for a cherry kissed lip, or slick it on to bring out your inner vamp.
After Hours: shimmer
Deep plum with violet shimmer. This makes such a beautiful stain on the lips, giving you a plummy pout without looking severe. Or you can use it straight from the tube when you're feeling like a true femme fatale.
Rich chocolate brown. It has lipstick like pigment and coverage so you can really paint with it, but I also love this color used as a stain. It's really gorgeous. I also like to mix a little bit of it with a touch of clear lip gloss and use it on the eyelids. It gives the eyes a sultry, sexy rock chick vibe that looks great with lots of mascara.
