Dress: Alexander McQueen      Hair: Renato Campora

For the National Board of Review Gala, Jessica wore a lovely Alexander McQueen dress with gold embellishment at the collar.  A pretty wine stained lip and lightly lined eyes were all she needed.  It's simple elegance, nothing tricky.  Jessica is so beautiful, she doesn't need much!

Hair: Jenny Cho           Stylist: Elizabeth Stewart

I love Jessica's alabaster skin, and the soft glow of a luminous foundation truly makes her look lit from within.  I used very little makeup on her eyes.  A little taupe shadow and liner with lots and lots of black mascara to give her soft, sexy, flirty eyes.

A peachy flush on the cheeks and tangelo color on the lips felt polished and complimented her flawless complexion.

I loved the colors of the Marni dress that Jessica wore so I chose neutral, muted colors to compliment the autumnal feeling of the dress.  Jessica is such a striking beauty, it's always inspiring to work on that face!

Get The Look: Jessica Chastain at the Tree of Life Premiere

I had the terrific pleasure of working with the stunning Jessica Chastain last week for her premiere of "The Tree of Life", the new Terrence Malick movie with her and Brad Pitt and Sean Penn (which just won the Palme d'Or at Cannes!)

You may not know who she is yet, but you will soon.  She's in about a gazillion movies that are coming out this year, so keep your eyes peeled for her on the big screen.

She wore the most incredible Roland Mouret dress (it was green with a chartreuse accent) which looked mazing with her red hair and creamy, pale skin.  We kept the makeup soft and feminine, no need for a statement when you have a dress like that!
